Kalamandalam Kshemavathy (Padmashree) She excels as a dancer and choreographer, dean among interpreters of Mohiniattam, Kalamandalam Kshemavathy is also expert in Baratha Natyam and Kuchipudi. In 1964, she founded her own school in Trichur (Kerala Kalamandiram.)
