Born on the 4th of may 1942 in Danilovka is USSR. Anatoli Vasiliev is Considered as the largest current Russian stage director ; He is also a filmmaker for television and an educator. Anatoli Vasiliev enters in 1968 the Faculty of Staging at the State Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Lunacharsky Moscow (the GITIS ) where he will follow the course of Andrei Popov and Maria Knebel . He trained with methods of Stanislavski. In the 70s, he shared the difficulties of young directors with no fixed place, in a blocked theatrical network. At the base of this school is the idea of continuous professional renewal.
